The Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre announced that its September play, a thriller titled “Murder in Green Meadows” is being exchanged for another thriller, “Snake in the Grass,” a story that revolves around three women.
“Snake in the Grass” will run Sept. 25-27 with curtain call at 7 p.m. each evening. Tickets are $8 and can be reserved by calling the CAST office at 814-765-4474. Tickets can also be purchased at the box office each show night.

CAST Bike & Hike

The CAST Bike & Hike will be held Sunday, Sept. 28 at the Parker Dam State Park. Riders have a choice in ride lengths, which are 9-mile, 18-mile or 30-mile, and all rides are clearly marked.
Registration is $20. Participants are welcome to register on event-day, starting at 11:30 a.m. However, T-shirts cannot be guaranteed to day-of-ride registrants. All rides depart at 12:30 p.m.
Ride helmets are mandatory and upon return from the ride, walk or run, participants are required to check in at the registration table.

Autumnfest will be held Sunday, Sept. 28 at the Lakeview Lodge, Treasure Lake. Festivities will include pumpkin painting, ring the pumpkin/ring the spider, turkey in the straw, bowling candy corn, face painting, bracelet-making, etc.
Hay rides will begin at 1 p.m. and the last ride will be at 4:30 p.m. Each ride takes approximately 20 minutes. Bob Nickerson, “The Jock-ular Juggler,” will be performing at 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.
The relay schedule will be air balloon at 1:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.; pony hop at 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 4:45 p.m.; roll the pumpkin at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.; and musical hay bales at 2 p.m. and 3:45 p.m.

Haunt Season “Freaks”
Ravenwood Manor
Ravenwood Manor’s Haunt Season “Freaks” will open for its first weekend on Oct. 2-5. Its last weekend will be Nov. 1-2. Kids are admitted free and tickets are $12 for adults.
The ticket booth opens at 7 p.m. each night and closes at midnight. Personal checks and credit cards are not accepted for payment.
The groups entering the mansion consist of seven to nine guests. Most children who are under the age of 8 years often cannot make it through the attraction.
The Haunted Attraction Tours last approximately 26 minutes and pass through three floors of mayhem. Dozens of seasoned actors have been waiting for the arrival of guests.
No use of photography is permitted inside the premises.

Chances are $5 each and can be purchased by calling Dana Shoemaker at 814-577-3954 or by e-mailing mainst@philipsburgpa.org. The off-road vehicle will be given away at 1 p.m. after the Christmas parade Dec. 6 in downtown Philipsburg.
The winner does not need to be present at the parade; however, if the winner is present, the PRC will pay the Pennsylvania sales tax and registration. There is also a second prize of $250 and a third prize of $150 in cash.
