State police at Philipsburg
- An incident of theft occurred Thursday on Philips Street in Philipsburg Borough. Further, the victim reported that someone had removed her wallet from out of her locker. However, the wallet was later located inside her locker.
- An incident of harassment, burglary and criminal trespass occurred Thursday on North Seventh Street in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly entered the victim’s unlocked trailer, which no one lives in. When a witness observed this, he went inside and was allegedly attacked by the suspect. The witness was allegedly struck in the face, pushed out the door and off the porch onto the ground. Afterward the suspect fled the scene. State police noted that nothing appeared to be missing or damaged at the trailer. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the state police at Philipsburg at 814-342-3370.
State police at Ridgway
- An incident of harassment occurred Saturday on Scotland Street in Fox Township. During the incident, a Kersey man allegedly shoved the victim into her car, causing a large dent in the door. Charges, state police said, were filed through the district court.
- An incident of criminal trespass occurred Friday at the Wal-Mart store in Fox Township. During the incident, a 20-year-old St. Marys man entered the store when he was aware he wasn’t privileged to do so. Charges, state police said, were filed against him as a result of the incident.
Clearfield Borough
- Police received a report about a tractor-trailer stuck in the area of East Locust Street and Cemetery Road on Friday. The operator was attempting a delivery at a business and looking for a place to turn around. Once at the top of East Locust Street, the trailer’s landing gear struck the ground, causing the truck to become stuck and to block one lane of Cemetery Road. Towing services assisted at the scene, police said.
- Police received a report about a minor motor vehicle accident on Friday at the intersection of South Third and East Cherry streets. A witness stated that a vehicle traveling on East Cherry Street failed to stop for a red light as another vehicle approached from South Third Street. The vehicles collided with each other; both sustained minor damage, police said.
- Police received a report about a male who was allegedly intoxicated and staggering along Cherry Street. Upon arrival police searched the area and were unable to locate the male.
- Police received a report about a missing child. Further, police located the child a few blocks away from the residence and returned him.
- Police received a report about people who were allegedly taking pictures of people outside on Bigler Avenue. The incident, police said, remains under investigation at this time.
- Police assisted an individual who had locked themselves out of their apartment.
- Police responded to a reckless driving complaint on Ogden Avenue.
- Lawrence Township police were assisted with locating a juvenile who was involved in an alleged assault incident. The juvenile, police said, was located at his residence.
- Police were called for a noise complaint along South Second Street. However, the offender’s music was turned down prior to police arrival.
- Police assisted with a psychological emergency along East Pine Street. Further, police said that a female was taken to the hospital for an evaluation.
- Police arrested a male for DUI after he was stopped along Route 322 for a traffic violation.
- Police responded to Turnpike Avenue for a reported noise complaint.
- Lawrence Township police were assisted with a juvenile who ran away from his residence. The juvenile, police said, turned himself in at the Clearfield police station.
- Police responded to an alarm along East Pine Street.
- Police received a report about a child who was allegedly placing stolen items into a pool on South Third Street. Upon arrival police handled the incident.
- Police arrested a 46-year-old man for DUI and related offenses after he failed to stop for police for a vehicle violation. The male allegedly fled from police and was ultimately taken into custody in the Hyde area. Clearfield police were assisted by Lawrence Township police.
Lawrence Township
- Police will conduct a traffic enforcement detail on Mount Joy and High Level roads in Lawrence Township. Further, police have received numerous complaints about motorists traveling at excessive speeds through a residential area. More specifically police will target speeding and aggressive motorists and would like to ask that all motorists travel responsibly. Also, police request that motorists observe the increase in school traffic for the safety of the students and residents of the area.
- Police assisted a disabled motorist with a flat tire.
- Police assisted a motorist whose vehicle was off of the roadway along Daisy Street.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment from a Patton Street resident.
- Police received a report about suspicious activity in the area of River Road.
- Police received a report about an alarm at a business on the Clearfield – Curwensville Highway.
- Police received a report about a 9-1-1 hang-up call on the Clearfield – Shawville Highway. Upon making contact with the resident, police found everything to be OK.
- Police received a report about a two-vehicle accident on the Hyde Bridge. No injuries were reported; both vehicles were towed from the scene, police said.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of stalking on the Clearfield – Shawville Highway. Upon making contact with the individuals involved, police found it wasn’t an incident of stalking.
- Police received a report about an alleged protection from abuse violation. The incident, police said, remains under investigation.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment at the Wal-Mart Supercenter.
- Police received a report about an alarm at a business on Route 879.
- Police received a report about an alleged domestic dispute at the Edgewood Apartments. Upon arrival police handled the incident at the scene.

- Police were requested to check the welfare of a female who was along the roadway on Park Avenue Extension. However, the female was gone upon police arrival.

- Police received a report about an alleged theft that was determined to be civil in nature.
- Police received a traffic complaint that occurred in the area of Kauffman Road and Whiskey Hill. The vehicles, however, were gone upon police arrival to the area.
- Police received a report about an accident on Scribbers Road. No injuries were reported and the vehicle was driven from the scene, police said.
- Police received a report about a tree blocking Kauffman Road. Further, police removed the tree from the roadway.
- Police received a report about a civil property dispute. The parties, police said, were referred to the appropriate agencies.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of trespass in Hyde. Further, police found the male was a new renter of the property.
- Police received reports about two alarms at businesses. Upon arrival at both businesses, police found everything to be OK.
Sandy Township
- On Friday, a 44-year-old Florida man was allegedly observed by K-Mart employees attempting to take a Netscape WiFi module valued at $39.99 without paying for it. Retail theft charges were filed against him, police said.
- A 41-year-old man reported that on Sept. 7, he was involved in a minor accident in the Wal-Mart parking lot while backing out of a parking space.
- A 20-year-old DuBois woman reported that while stopped in traffic on Bee Line Highway on Friday, her vehicle was hit from behind. Both drivers pulled into the DuBois Plaza parking lot and exchanged information. No injuries and minor damage were reported, police said.
- Police received a report about a false alarm at Mid-State Amusements on Friday.
- Police received a report about a group of individuals fighting in the backyard of a Forest Avenue residence on Friday. The group, police said, was gone upon arrival, and the resident initially denied an incident had occurred there. Police, however, were able to speak with someone involved in the fight and handled the situation without incident.
- A 29-year-old Penfield man was traveling south on Route 255 on Saturday when he lost control of his vehicle in the area of Sher-De-Lin Road. His vehicle then left the roadway, striking a utility pole and overturning onto its roof. The man who was severely injured was transported to Penn Highlands DuBois and flown to Altoona. The man, police said, believes he fell asleep while driving.
- On Saturday, a 49-year-old Circle Road resident reported that her 53-year-old husband had been drinking and was causing problems at the residence. Upon arrival police located the man outside and he admitted to trying to pick a fight with wife. Police handled the situation without incident.
- On Saturday, a Treasure Lake woman reported seeing a suspicious-looking man walking through the woods. He was described as wearing white gloves and carrying a shovel. However, the man was gone upon police arrival.
- A 19-year-old Falls Creek woman reported losing her phone at the Shoe Depot in the DuBois Mall on Saturday. The woman, police said, later reported that the phone was located inside the store.
- Police received a report about a false alarm at Dollar General on Sunday.
- A 32-year-old DuBois man reported being harassed by a known Clearfield man while at Station 101 on Sunday.
- On Sunday, a Sabula man reported receiving a phone call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft and telling him that his computer had a virus. The caller, police said, wanted to access his computer to fix it. When the man asked for more details, the caller hung up on him. Police found the call to be a scam.
- A 43-year-old Treasure Lake woman reported that while she was stopped at a red light on the Bee Line Highway on Sunday, her vehicle was rear-ended. Both parties pulled over and exchanged information. No injuries and minor damage were reported, police said.
