State police at DuBois
- A firearms violation occurred Monday on Interstate 80 westbound at exit 86 in Pine Creek Township. Further, the DuBois Motor Carrier Team stopped a truck for PennDOT inspection. Upon making contact with the operator, he was allegedly found in possession of a fully-loaded .45-caliber handgun. He’d allegedly concealed the weapon in the center console of his vehicle. The man, state police said, didn’t have a permit to possess a concealed handgun and was taken into custody. State police noted the investigation will continue pending charges; the Jefferson County District Attorney assisted state police.
- An incident of access device fraud occurred on Sept. 7 on Route 28 in Snyder Township. During the incident, someone allegedly gained access to the victim’s debit card and used it to make a purchase from the Home Depot Store in Philadelphia.
State police at Philipsburg
- An incident of disorderly conduct occurred Monday in the 100 block of West Laurel Street in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, a 53-year-old Osceola Mills man allegedly urinated on the sidewalk. He was cited for the incident.
- An incident of burglary occurred Monday on South Front Street in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly entered an unlocked apartment while the victim wasn’t there and removed prescription medication.
