Day-of registration will begin at 7 a.m. and the race will start at 8:30 a.m. Runners with pumpkins will be eligible for special prizes.
After the race, the Fall Festival will take place from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Admission is free to this family-friendly event on Market, Locust, and Third streets.
Festivalgoers can enjoy food while meeting and mingling with more than 100 talented artisans, as they display and sell work ranging from ceramics, fiber, wood, leather and metalwork to jewelry, glass, photography and mixed-media art pieces.
Many downtown businesses will be open to showcase fall sales. Festivalgoers can also check out antique and classic cars at the car show that’s being held in conjunction with the festival.
There will be live entertainment on the Lezzer Lumber stage, as well as street musicians in front of the Clearfield County Courthouse.
Kids will be able to “Chalk-Up Clearfield” by designing their own square on the sidewalk. Clearfield Fire and Safety will show off their fire trucks and police cars to kids.
There will be free hayrides leaving from in front of the courthouse and plenty more kids games and activities.
In addition, festivalgoers will be able to try out the Pennsylvania DUI Simulator and explore the Daughter of Darkness Vietnam War truck.
