BELLWOOD — The Clearfield Fall Ball Team was limited to seven hits by Bishop Guilfoyle pitchers in a loss and a tie at Drost Field Sunday afternoon.
The hosts won the opener 9-1 before the two teams played to a 6-6 deadlock. The nightcap was stopped after six innings because of the time limit.
Marcus Luzier drove in two runs for Clearfield (1-2-2) in the nightcap.
Clearfield’s next games are booked for Saturday at 11 a.m. against DuBois and 3 p.m. against Central at the Lawrence Township Recreation Park Field. The two visiting teams will meet at 1 p.m.
