LOCK HAVEN – Lock Haven University’s Workforce Development and Continuing Education office will be offering the “Best Practices in Coaching and Feedback” workshop on Nov. 13.
There will be a continental breakfast from 8:30 a.m. until 9 a.m. The session will be from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the Durrwachter Alumni Conference Center Ballroom
This free session will be limited to the first 50 registrants. Dr. John Park of ParenteBeard will lead the session, focusing on how participants can enhance their ability to coach and develop others.
Participants will have an opportunity to learn about best practices that they can implement in their own organization, such as: the importance of effective feedback; factors contributing to successful coaching; key steps in coaching that has impact; positive and constructive feedback; and the importance of paying attention.
Park is a principal in ParenteBeard’s management consulting practice focused on talent development, strategic planning, and board development. He has more than 30 years of experience in higher education, insurance, professional services, and family businesses. He is also responsible for the firm’s internal leadership development activities.
