TYRONE – Community members interested in entering the Breast Cancer & Women’s Health Institute (BCWHI) Pink Out Photo Contest can do so during Pink Out Day on the Tyrone Regional Health Network campus on Sept. 19.
BCWHI is holding the Pink Out photo contest to support breast cancer awareness and raise funds for its Breast Cancer Voucher program, a program that provides support for women with breast cancer who are uninsured or underinsured.
Community members can enter the contest by coming to get a Pink Out photo taken Sept. 19 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the main lobby at Tyrone Hospital. There is a small donation of $1 to get your photo taken or grab a group of friends and participate for $5.
Participants can Pink Out in their own gear or use items from BCWHI’s Pink Out Box.
Contest photos submitted to date may be viewed on the BCWHI Facebook page at at www.facebook.com/thebreastcancerinstitute
The public is invited to vote for their favorite photo on the BCWHI Facebook page, beginning Oct. 6 during Breast Cancer Awareness month. Contest winners will be determined through this voting process with winners announced early November.
