Helen L. “Red” Dillon, 79, of Chester Hill Borough, Philipsburg, died Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014 at her residence.
Born May 8, 1935 in Coalport, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Helen (Shoffner) Dillon.
Ms. Dillon was of the Christian faith and a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Lillian Dixon and two brothers, Robert Dillon and Clifford Dillon Jr.
Ms. Dillon is survived by a daughter, Deborah J. Yeager of Chester Hill RD Philipsburg; a son, Rick L. Dillon of RD Osceola Mills; two sisters, Kathy Brown of Gearhartville RD Philipsburg and Hazel Culp of RD Philipsburg; a brother, Ken Dillon of Philipsburg; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Heath Funeral Home, Osceola Mills, with Pastor Jennifer C. Heikes officiating.
