Deanna M. Wilt, 58, Treasure Lake, DuBois, died Monday, Sept. 1, 2014 at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia.
Born June 23, 1956 in Punxsutawney, she was the daughter of the late Dean H. and Luva M. (Reese) Kerr. On May 29, 1976, she married William D. Wilt. He survives.
She was the administrator of the DuBois Christian & Missionary Alliance Church and had worked at the DuBois Harley Davidson Shop. While living in Punxsutawney, she was a legal secretary for several attorneys.
She was a member of the DuBois Christian & Missionary Alliance Church. She was well-known for her organizational skills; party planning and distinctive penmanship. She loved to cross-stitch and spend time with her friends and family.
She is survived by a daughter, Jennifer M. Smeltz and her husband, Jake of Mount Joy; a son, Matthew W. Wilt and his wife, Sarah of Hatboro; a twin brother, Donald Kerr of Home; a brother and two sisters, Kenneth Kerr, Sharon Kerr and Mary Jane “Sam” Kerr, all of Punxsutawney; and five grandchildren, Noah, Ryan, Caiden, Emily and Adelyn.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church with Pastor Clarence Croscutt officiating.
The Goble-Baronick Funeral Home is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
