ST. MARYS – State Rep. Matt Gabler (R-Clearfield/Elk) will host a concealed carry permit seminar on Sept. 11, at 6:30 p.m. The event will be held at The Red Fern Banquet Hall, 421 Old Kersey Rd., Kersey.
“We had a great turnout in March for the DuBois seminar and decided to hold one in another section of the 75th Legislative District,” Gabler said.
“This is a great opportunity for anyone considering applying for a permit or an existing permit holder. You’ll learn what your rights are, as well as your responsibility when interacting with local law enforcement.”
The panel of speakers for the seminar includes Attorney Bradley Kraus, Certified NRA Instructor Martin Rosenfeld, Clearfield County District Attorney Bill Shaw, Clearfield County Sheriff Wes Thurston and Elk County Deputy Sheriff Theresa Merritt.
“The purpose of this event is to give people the facts about Pennsylvania’s concealed carry laws,” Gabler added. “There will be plenty of time for those in attendance to ask questions of our very knowledgeable speakers.”
Pre-registration for the seminar is required as seating is limited. To reserve a space, please visit Gabler’s Web site, www.RepGabler.com, or contact his St. Marys office at 814-781-6301.
