State police at Philipsburg
- An incident of DUI occurred Saturday on Skytop Mountain Road at Lion Lane in Huston Township. Further, a male was allegedly found to be under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop. Charges will be filed through the district court pending blood test results.
- State police initiated a Megan’s Law investigation on Aug. 22 in Philipsburg Borough. Further, a registered offender allegedly failed to respond to state police to verify his current information as required by law.
- A motor vehicle theft occurred Saturday on South Prospect Street in Port Matilda Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly took a pick-up truck from along the roadway by dragging it. It was located in the parking lot in front of the Port Matilda Elementary School. The incident, state police said, remains under investigation at this time.
- A protection from abuse order violation occurred Monday at a North Second Street residence in Philipsburg Borough. Further, the victim appeared at the Philipsburg barracks and alleged that a Houtzdale male had violated a PFA by using a social media network. Upon investigation state police found the male had violated the PFA order, and he was taken into custody. State police noted the case is currently pending a PFA hearing, which is scheduled later this week.
State police at Ridgway
- The Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal and the Jay Township Fire Department investigated a fire that occurred Saturday at 3979 Bar Hollow Road in Benezette Township. The fire, state police said, destroyed an unoccupied camper, causing $7,500 worth of damage. State police noted that no injuries occurred as a result of the fire. The Emporium and Sinnemahoning fire departments assisted at the scene.
- An incident of retail theft occurred Friday at the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Fox Township. During the incident, a known female allegedly took make-up items valued at $13.25 and left without paying for them.

- Â An incident of DUI occurred Sunday on Old Kersey Road in Fox Township. During the incident, a known St. Marys male was stopped for a traffic violation and allegedly showed signs of intoxication. He was taken to Elk Penn Highlands for a blood draw. The investigation, state police said, is currently pending blood test results.
- An incident of theft occurred sometime Aug. 24-27 on David Street in Fox Township. During the incident, someone allegedly stole prescription medications from the victim. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the state police at Ridgway at 814-776-6136.
- Brian J. Barr, 39, of Kersey, who is a Megan’s Law offender, moved from his address of record and hasn’t reported his new address as required by law. Anyone with information about Barr is asked to contact the state police at Ridgway at 814-776-6136.
- An incident of DUI occurred in the area of Route 219 and Lawrence Road in Jones Township. During the incident, a known male was stopped for allegedly driving erratically and arrested for DUI. He was taken to Elk Penn Highlands for blood testing. The investigation, state police said, is currently pending blood test results.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about an alleged PFA violation. The incident, police said, was unfounded.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of scattering rubbish on River Road.
- Police received a report about an alleged trespassing incident at a Bowman’s Hill Road residence. Upon arrival police observed signs of someone being inside the residence; however, police didn’t locate anyone.
- Police received a report about a traffic violation that occurred along the Clearfield – Curwensville Highway.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment by communications. The incident, police said, remains under investigation at this time.
- Police received a report about unwanted males who were allegedly on the property of the Sapp Bros. Truck Stop.

Curwensville Borough
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of access device fraud on Friday.
- Police received a report about juveniles who were allegedly loitering in the area of Bailey Road and Mary Lane on Friday evening.
- Police found a wanted Grampian man in the area of Arnoldtown on Friday. He was transported to the Clearfield County Jail.
- Police assisted the state Fish & Boat Commission and the state police in the area of O’Shanter on Saturday morning.
DuBois City
- On Friday, someone stole a bag containing items from an unlocked vehicle that was parked in the 100 block of DuBois Street.
- A two-vehicle accident occurred Friday at the intersection of Beaver Drive and Shaffer Road. No injuries were reported but one vehicle was towed from the scene.
- A 25-year-old DuBois woman was cited after allegedly leaving her 17-month-old child unattended in a running vehicle on Friday. The woman was allegedly unable to see the child when she entered a store in the first block of East Long Avenue.
- A three-vehicle accident occurred Friday at the intersection of South Seventh Street and Maple Avenue. No injuries were reported but one vehicle was towed from the scene.
- On Friday, a domestic dispute occurred in the 100 block of South Franklin Street. Upon arrival police requested that the couple keep noise to a minimum.
- Police conducted a roving DUI patrol between 11 p.m. and 3 a.m. Saturday. During that timeframe, police conducted 13 traffic stops while making two arrests for DUI. They also issued four traffic citations and 10 warnings.
- On Sunday, police received a report about an alarm at Kurt Johnson Auto Sales. Upon arrival police found everything to be OK.
- On Sunday, police received a report about a domestic dispute in the 500 block of West Weber Avenue. The couple, police said, engaged in an argument over the woman’s adult son moving in. The man left the residence so there wouldn’t be any further problems.
- A three-vehicle accident occurred Sunday at the intersection of South Martin Street and Spring Avenue. One man, according to police, was injured as a result of the accident. Upon investigation police also made one DUI arrest. DuBois City fire and ambulance personnel assisted at the scene.
