Betty Bumbarger, 63, of Allport died Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College.
Born Nov. 30, 1950 in Askerlik, Turkey, she was the daughter of the late Matsut and Fiytire Akat. Mrs. Bumbarger was a homemaker.
She was married to Lewis M. Bumbarger on July 19, 1971 in Madrid, Spain. He survives in Allport.
She’s also survived by a son Lewis E.M. Bumbarger of Allport and two brothers, Paul Akat of Penfield and Ahernt Akat of New York City.
Mrs. Bumbarger was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in the Allport Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Strange & Weaver Funeral Service, Morrisdale.
