Pauline Wasilko, 86, of Osceola Mills died Monday, Aug. 25, 2014 at Windy Hill Village, in Philipsburg.
Born Feb. 16, 1928 in (Low Coal) RD Osceola Mills, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Susan (Coleman) Patrick.
She married John Wasilko on Oct. 8, 1955 at the St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church in Ramey; he survives at home.
Mrs. Wasilko was a member of the St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church in Ramey. She was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, David Wasilko; two sisters, Annie Socoski and Helen Berzonsky; and five brothers, Michael, Joseph, John, Paul and George Patrick.
Along with her husband, Mrs. Wasilko is survived by a daughter, Kathryn Wasilko of Harrisburg; two sons, Michael Wasilko and his wife, Laurie of Philipsburg and Daniel Wasilko and his wife, Bobbie Jo of Tracy, Calif.; and two sisters Susanna Johnson of Gettysburg and Louise Patrick of Coraopolis.
She is also survived by five grandchildren, Scott Wasilko and his wife, Sarah of Burlington, VT, Jonathan Wasilko of Ithaca, NY, Nathan Wasilko of Oakdale, Conn., Erica Burkhart of Washington and Caitlin Burkhart-Wasilko of San Diego, Calif.; one great-grandchild, Amelia Wasilko of Burlington, VT; and a daughter-in-law, Roxanne Wasilko of Oakdale, Conn.
A Great Parastas will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at the St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church in Ramey, with the Very Rev. Anthony Balistreri as celebrant.  Burial will be at the St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery in Ramey.
Friends will be received from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday at the Heath Funeral Home, 701 Lingle St. in Osceola Mills. Parastas will be at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
