LOCK HAVEN – This year’s annual Halloween parade will be co-sponsored by the Lock Haven Fire Department and Lock Haven University.
This will replace the annual parade normally taking place on Halloween evening. The parade will take place Oct. 25 at 10 a.m. in downtown Lock Haven.
This year’s theme, “Haunted Homecoming,” will culminate a week of Homecoming events at Lock Haven University.
Cash prizes will be awarded for: Best Appearing Float, Scariest, Best Appearing Vehicle, Judge’s Award, Most Original, Funniest, Best LHU Spirit, and Most Creative LHU Organization.
As always, parade participants are asked to refrain from political advertising.
Participants may join the line-up between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. on North Henderson Street between East Main and East Water streets.
The parade route will travel through East Main Street, ending at Triangle Park where the Lock Haven Fire Department will provide refreshments and donuts.
