CLEARFIELD – “Having a good time where we are while we can” is the motto of Shepherd & Archibald, a unique musical duo from the Dubois area.
The duo performs songs from old and new Irish, Scottish and English folk, as well as “whatever else they throw in.” The kilt-wearing duo is most comfortable around a campfire but “welcomes the chance to make fools of themselves anywhere.”
Shepherd & Archibald will perform at the Corner Concert Series on Friday at Shaw Park. The music gets under way at 7 p.m.; the park is located across from the Joseph & Elizabeth Shaw Public Library.
This year’s corner concerts are used to raise monies and awareness for the Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre. The CAST is a non-profit, live performance theater and arts center in downtown Clearfield.
