Richard L. Kerr, 55, of Clearfield died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2014 at the UPMC Altoona.
Born Jan. 21, 1959 in Philipsburg, he was the son of the late Malvin Kerr Jr. and the late Delores E. (Bierlair) Kerr. Mr. Kerr was a member of the Hyde Wesleyan Church.
He was a graduate of the Glendale High School in the class of 1976. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator in and around Clearfield.
Surviving is his first wife, Sharon K. Graham of Clearfield, and the mother of his children, Brandy Pelton of Madera; Breann Kerr of Westover and Richard Cruise Kerr of Clearfield.
Also surviving are his grandchildren, Chantz Pelton, Kira Pelton and Cruise Kerr and four sisters, Sherry Wills of Dysart, Bobbie Bloom of Madera; and Tammy Strickland and Tina Kerr, both of Clearfield.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service for Richard L. Kerr at 11 a.m. Friday, with Pastor Bob Croft officiating, at the Bennett & Houser Funeral Home Inc., Clearfield.
A time to share memories and have an opportunity to view will be from 9:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
