State police at DuBois
- An incident of DUI occurred Saturday on the Rich Highway at Slab Run Road in Sandy Township. During the incident, a 45-year-old Punxsutawney man was allegedly stopped for a summary vehicle code violation and found to be intoxicated. He was arrested for DUI and related offenses. The investigation, state police said, is currently pending blood test results.
- An incident of burglary/theft occurred sometime between Jan. 15 and Aug. 7 on Alderton Road in Winslow Township. During the incident, someone allegedly gained entry into a concrete cell site shelter contained inside a chain link perimeter security fence. It surrounded the shelter and cellular telephone tower owned by AT&T. Once inside they allegedly removed a communication test set.
State police at Ridgway
- An incident of DUI occurred Saturday on state Route 255 at Sunset Road in Fox Township. Further, a 45-year-old Kersey man was stopped for allegedly driving erratically and upon preliminary investigation, he was arrested for DUI. He was taken to Elk Penn Highlands for blood testing, and charges are currently pending at this time.
- An incident of retail theft occurred Friday at the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Fox Township. During the incident, a 20-year-old Ridgway man allegedly removed a pair of men’s sneakers without paying for them. He was apprehended by a Wal-Mart employee and cited for retail theft through the district court.
Clearfield Borough
- Police reported that bad checks were received by a local business. The incident, police said, remains under investigation at this time.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal mischief along East Eighth Street. Extra patrols will be provided, police said.
- Police received a report about the operator of a truck who was allegedly speeding on Spruce Street. However, the truck was gone upon police arrival.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment between neighbors in West Side. Both were warned for their actions, police said.
- Police received a report about a child allegedly being harassed and an attempted assault. The incident, police said, remains under investigation at this time.
- Police responded to a residence for a noise complaint on South Fourth Street. The complaint was unfounded, police said.
- Police received a report about a child who was allegedly being unruly at an East Locust Street residence. Upon arrival police handled the incident at the scene.
- Police received a report about an alleged Protection from a Abuse order violation. The incident, police said, remains under investigation at this time.
- Police responded to a dumpster fire along Temple Avenue. Upon arrival police found only smoke and not any flames.
- Police were requested to do a welfare check.
- Police received a report about a solar flower that was allegedly stolen along the 500 block of Nichols Street. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
- Police received a report about an alleged burglary at an East Pine Street residence. Anyone with any information is asked to call police.
Lawrence Township
- Police were requested to check the welfare of some dogs that had been abandoned inside a residence.
- Police received a report about a traffic violation at the Hyde light.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of disorderly conduct in the parking lot at the Wal-Mart Supercenter. The incident, police said, remains under investigation.
- Police received a report about an alarm at a Plaza Drive business.
- Police received a report about a suspicious vehicle at a business along Fullerton Street. However, the vehicle was gone upon police arrival.
- Police received a report about an unwanted male at a residence along Clark Street. Upon arrival police found the male had already fled the scene.
- Police received a report about a traffic violation on SR 879. The vehicle, however, was gone upon police arrival.

- Police served a warrant on a Clearfield male who was located by Clearfield Borough police. The male was arraigned and lodged at the Clearfield County Jail.

Sandy Township
- On Friday, a 60-year-old Freedom Road woman reported that someone tampered with the mirror on her vehicle while it was parked at her residence.
- A wallet was found Friday on the Bee Line Highway near Snappy’s Convenience Store. The wallet was turned over to police.
- On Saturday, two 9-1-1 hang-up calls were received from a cellular phone that was not activated and located at the Garden Grove Townhouses. The calls, police said, were accidental and due to children playing with the phone.
- On Saturday, employees of Rite Aid reported finding a sleeping bag, pillow and hoodie in a pile behind their dumpster. Police checked the area and did not find the owner.
- Police received a false alarm Saturday at a Sunset Drive residence.
- On Sunday, employees of Christ the King Manor requested police assistance for a 92-year-old woman who was being violent toward the staff. When police arrived, the situation had been resolved.
- Police received a report that someone was burning in the area of Loeb Avenue on Sunday. Police explained to the resident that there wasn’t any burning allowed on Sunday and the situation was handled without incident.
- On Sunday, a Forsyth Road resident reported hearing a crash in front of his house. When he investigated, he found an injured deer and the vehicle, which hit it, had fled the scene.
