Corner Concert Variety Show

Twin Reverb will be among the performers on Friday at the Corner Concert Variety Show at the Shaw Park in downtown Clearfield.
In addition, there will be several comic acts and other musicians, including, Gary Lauver, Brandon Hall and Cowabunga Breakfast. Attendees are invited to bring their own instrument and special talent.
Entertainment will get under way at 7 p.m. The corner concerts are free to the public. However, a collection is received from those who are willing to give.
This year’s corner concerts will benefit the CAST.

Clearfield YMCA Fair Fun 5K & 100-Meter Dash
Saturday, Aug. 2
The course is a fast, fairly flat route through the streets of Clearfield and the Clearfield County Fairgrounds. The course has been certified by the USATF Association. Strollers and dogs are permitted on the course.
Registration will be held from 7:15 a.m. – 8:15 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2 at the David H. Litz Grove Stage. The 5K run/walk start time is 8:30 a.m. and the 100-meter dash start time is 9:30 a.m. (after the finish of the 5K race).

Coalport Farmers Market

There is a farmers market the first Saturday of every month through October. It will be held in the Beechwood Park along with the Coalport Flea Market each month.
Set-up will begin at 6:30 a.m. and the market is open from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. You are invited to participate by just showing up. The farmers market vendors are limited to various food products and plants.
This is an open-air market. You will need to bring your own tables, chairs, canopies, etc. The sizes of available spaces are unlimited at this time, as there’s a lot of room in the park currently available. There is a set-up fee of $10 per vendor per day.

Stand Up Paddling Classes

It will be changing the face of disabilities one act at a time. This joint project offers a chance for individuals with disabilities to experience the creativity, expression and self-development offered by the theatrical arts.
From acting to set decoration to costumes, folks will have a chance to experience the full range of theater activities and to learn the valuable skills taught by each. This is a great chance to create and to express.

Rock Run has announced it will host an ATV Summer Blast. The event will be held from Thursday, Aug. 7 through Sunday, Aug. 10.

Competitions will pit you against other riders to test your skills and get you a little muddy. Rock Run staff members will give a guided-tour of the park. In the evenings, the Midway will have food and some live entertainment.
