M. Luella Lauver, 89, of Reynoldsville died Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at Christ the King Manor.
Born Dec. 18, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Jesse K. and Carrie M. (Kness) Hannah.
On Sept. 28, 1944, she married Charles G. Lauver. He preceded her in death on Nov. 19, 1998.
She was a graduate of the Reynoldsville High School and the DuBois Business College.
She worked at Ideal Products in Sykesville as a secretary. She then worked at the Penn Traffic Company as a sales representative.
She was a member of the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church, where she was very active in church affairs, playing the piano and serving as treasurer for many years. She was an avid bowler and competed in many state tournaments. She loved spending time with her family. She was a great cook and enjoyed taking care of her flowers.
She is survived by her son, Jerry Lauver and his wife, Linda of Reynoldsville and two daughters, Connie McIntosh and her husband, Thomas of Sharpsville and Pam Magee and her husband, Garth of Reynoldsville; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Friends will be received from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home with Pastor Leon Blose officiating.
Burial will follow in Morningside Cemetery.
