CLEARFIELD – Heather Bozovich will leave her position as the Clearfield Revitalization Corp.’s Main Street manager on Friday.
Bozovich has decided to pursue a private practice with an attorney in DuBois. She said Chris Renaud, director of planning and development, will fill in until the CRC names a new Main Street manager.
“It was a very difficult decision for me,” she said. “I do believe in the Clearfield Revitalization Corp. and its mission within this community. But I think this is just the right step for a long-term career path for me.”
Bozovich earned her undergraduate degree in finance from Virginia Tech. She also earned her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Toledo, according to a previously published press release from the CRC.
The CRC, she said, will accept applications for the Main Street manager position through Aug. 7. She said Renaud will also leave the CRC toward the end of August but will be with the organization through the hiring process and involved with the training of her replacement.
When asked, Bozovich said she plans to be available to train the next Main Street manager. She would like to encourage her replacement to build more community relationships to continue fostering positives around Clearfield.
Bozovich also plans to stick around as a volunteer at the CRC events. “It’s hard to leave when they have become my family,” she said. “It’s been a pleasure to work with them over the past year.”
Bozovich was named Main Street manager last August. She would like to thank the CRC board of directors and the Clearfield community for allowing her to serve them.
