Registration is open until Aug. 5 for an emergency medical technician (EMT) course. Several openings are available; the course will be held at the Glen Richey Fire Hall.
This new EMT course is 200 hours long and includes more in-depth training, additional skills and clinical time. It starts Aug. 12 and will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.
The course costs $300. This includes Buck County Community College tuition, course materials, CPR certification and hazmat training. Â Checks should be made payable to EMMCO East Inc. and are due at the time of registration.
