BENEZETTE TOWNSHIP – There are three bridges on Bell Draft Road in Benezette Township, Elk County that have been bid as a single project.
These bridges are specifically located on Bell Draft Road over McDonald Run, Shaffer Draft, and Bell Draft. The project was issued Jan. 15 and the bids were opened on Feb. 13.
There were 12 bidders for this project and LTT Trucking LLC. of North Bend won with a low bid of $441,173.80.
Two of these bridges, Bell Draft Road over McDonald and Shaffer Draft, are slated to begin in mid-August and once begun, the road will not be open for traffic until Oct. 1. The ridge on Bell Draft Road over Bell Draft will begin next year.
