Nancy L. Bryan, 76, of Philipsburg died Thursday, July 24, 2014 at her home.
Born Feb. 21, 1938, she was the daughter of the late William E. and Grace A. (Nolan) Lamb Furguiel and her step-father Fred Furguiel.
She married Marshall T. Bryan on Aug. 31, 1957 at the Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Philipsburg. He survives at home.
Mrs. Bryan was a member of the Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Philipsburg. She was employed with the Presbyterian Home, Philipsburg, for several years until health problems forced her to retire.
She was a 1956 graduate of the Philipsburg High School. She was an avid crafter of baby blankets, dolls, angels and other items. Her biggest joy was giving away her hand-crafted items.
In addition to her parents and step-father she was preceded in death by a daughter, Valerie A, Heichel-Bryan and a brother, Thomas J. Lamb.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Bryan is survived by a daughter, Marsha L. Sallurday and her husband, Billy Joe of Philipsburg and two sons, Mark A. Bryan and his wife, Betsy of Treasure Lake, DuBois, and Patrick S. Bryan and his wife, Sandi of Philipsburg.
She’s also survived by one sister, Sandy Kitchen of Philipsburg; five grandchildren, Brandy Vandeveld, Deanna Yarger, Eric Sallurday, Kelly Ferut and Kasey Bryan; and seven great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Beezer-Heath Funeral Home in Philipsburg, with the Rev. Robert J. Kelly officiating. Burial will be at the Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Philipsburg.
Friends will be received from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. The rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
