Gerald L. “Jerry” Stine, 62, of Ginter and formerly of Philipsburg died Sunday, July 20, 2014 in New Liberty, Philipsburg.
Born March 14, 1952, he was the son of Gerald G. and Lillian J. (Harris) Stine, who survive of New Liberty, Philipsburg.
Mr. Stine was protestant by faith.
He worked for the First Chemical Company, which was later known as Ablemarle, in Tyrone for 22 years. He was a 1970 graduate of the Philipsburg-Osceola Mills Area High School.
In addition to his parents, he’s survived by a sister, Carol J. Walker and her husband, Henry of Philipsburg; a brother, David Stine of State College; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Centre Cemetery, Osceola Mills, with the Rev. Timothy D. Richmond officiating.
At Mr. Stine’s request, there will be no public visitation.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home, Philipsburg.
