DECATUR TOWNSHIP – The Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal and the Philipsburg Fire Department have initiated an investigation into a second fire at a mobile home at 60 Roxby Ln. in Decatur Township.
On Thursday, the first fire damaged approximately one-half of the mobile home. On Friday, a second fire damaged the remainder of the mobile home and its contents, state police said.
The first fire was accidental and electrical in nature, according to state police. It was noted that the second fire remains under investigation to determine if hot spots rekindled to cause it.
Damaged caused by both fires is estimated at $60,000, state police said. Arthur Roxby, 72, of Philipsburg owned the mobile home. It was occupied by Melissa and David Brady and a juvenile male.
