UNIVERSITY PARK — The Beach Boys will perform at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, at the Bryce Jordan Center.
The Beach Boys have often been called “America’s Band” as creators of lush singles described as “teenage symphonies to God.” The group has had more than 80 songs chart worldwide, including 36 Top 40 hits — the most by an American rock band. They have sold in excess of 100 million records, making them one of the world’s best-selling bands. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988.
Reserved theater tickets are $45 and $69.50, and are available at all Bryce Jordan Center ticket outlets, online at www.ticketmaster.com or by phone at 800-745-3000. For University Park students there will be a limited amount of tickets available at a $20 discount courtesy of the University Park Allocation Committee.
