BRADFORD TOWNSHIP – No injuries were reported after a collision involving a truck tractor and a train on Tuesday on U.S. Route 322 in Bradford Township, according to the state police at Clearfield.
Sean Holloway, 46, of Jamaica Plain, Mass. was traveling eastbound when he failed to stop for an approaching train. Holloway proceeded across the railroad tracks, at which point the left rear of his trailer was struck by a train operated by Martin E. Finnegan, 36, of Philipsburg.
Holloway’s truck tractor stopped along the roadway approximately 100 yards east of the railroad tracks. The train stopped on the railroad tracks and blocked U.S. Route 322, state police said.
Both the truck tractor and the train were driven from the scene. State police noted Holloway will be cited for the collision through the district court.
