Mary A. Bauman, 98, of Clearfield died Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at the Ridgeview Elder Care & Rehabilitation Center, Curwensville.
She was born Sept. 14, 1915 in Curwensville, a daughter of the late Samuel and Catherine (Sedmock) Lash.
Mrs. Bauman was a homemaker and a member of the St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her generation.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sheldon D. Bauman, on March 1, 2002 and whom she wed Jan. 11, 1947 in St. Timothy’s Rectory, Curwensville.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Olosky and Joanna Carlo and three brothers, John, Sam and Joe Lash.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield, with Fr. Brandon Kleckner as celebrant.
Burial will follow in the Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.
Visitation will be held at the convenience of the family.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Francis Catholic Church, 212 S. Front St., Clearfield.
