CLEARFIELD – A Clearfield man pleaded guilty to indecent assault during plea and sentencing court in Clearfield County.
Clifford Lamonte Green, 19, 25 Chevy Ln., Clearfield, an inmate of the jail, also pleaded guilty to corruption of minors.
He was sentenced to 90 days to one year in jail and four years consecutive probation.
He must complete the Project Point of Light Program and 100 hours of community service. He was fined $200 plus costs.
He must also register his address with law enforcement under Megan’s Law.
Prior to sentencing, one of the victims addressed the court, asking Judge Paul E. Cherry to give Green the maximum sentence. She explained she has nightmares about him.
Green also addressed the court and apologized to the victim. “I deserve everything I get,” he said.
The charges stem from incidents in Lawrence Township last July. According to the affidavit of probable cause, police received a call to investigate an indecent assault. It was reported that Green had grabbed a 14-year-old girl’s breast and was masturbating in an 11-year-old girl’s bedroom.
When interviewed by police, he stated that he went into the victim’s bedroom while she was sleeping and watched her while masturbating on two occasions. He admitted to watching her sleep and wanting to have sex with her.
A few months earlier, he said he touched her breast on purpose while they were in a swimming pool because he was turned on by her. He admitted to fantasizing about children and having dreams about them.
