State police at Clearfield
- On Thursday, someone allegedly threw an egg at the victim’s 2005 Ford Escape while she was traveling south on Brisbin Street. The egg, state police said, allegedly struck the passenger’s side rear door. State police said there wasn’t any damage to the victim’s vehicle. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
- An incident of criminal mischief occurred Thursday on Eliza Street in Houtzdale Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly threw a small, green-colored apple at the front door of the victim’s residence. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
State police at Philipsburg
- An incident of burglary occurred Wednesday on North Ninth Street in Rush Township. During the incident, someone allegedly entered the victim’s garage by removing screws from a lock hasp. Once inside they allegedly rummaged around and removed a snap on booster box that was camouflage in color; snap on impact sockets in various sizes; gear wrenches in various sizes; a blue point impact gun; a Fox Motocross helmet that was blue in color; and a black and white EVS neck brace. The total loss is estimated at $1,775, and the incident remains under investigation at this time, state police said. State police at Ridgway
- On Tuesday, state police received a report about a 2-year-old Ridgway girl who was allegedly wandering around; a Wilcox woman attempted to locate the girl’s parents but wasn’t able to. She later learned where the girl belonged and tried to notify the father, a 31-year-old Ridgway man. However, the woman didn’t receive any response from him and the girl was relinquished to her grandmother. Charges were filed against the girl’s father through the district court.
- While investigating another incident in Wilcox, state police found a known male to be in possession of drugs and paraphernalia. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
- An incident of DUI occurred Wednesday on Route 555 in Benezette Township. During the incident, a 45-year-old Benezette man traveled off the left side of the roadway, striking the guiderail and coming to a rest in the woods. He was taken to Elk Penn Highlands, as he was suspected to be under the influence of alcohol. Charges are currently pending blood test results.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about an alleged dispute between a landlord and a tenant. Further, police found it was civil in nature and referred them to the magistrate’s office.
- Police received a report about a resident’s phone number allegedly being hacked. Further, police referred the resident to Verizon and the Attorney General’s office.
- Police received a report about an alleged theft incident.
- Police received a report about several 9-1-1 hang-up calls from a residence in Golden Rod.
- Police received a traffic complaint that occurred on Joseph Road. Further, several motorists were allegedly speeding and not stopping at a sign. Police will provide extra patrols to the area.
- Police received a report about a civil issue in the Hyde area. Further, police advised the person to contact the magistrate’s office.
- Police received a report about a structure fire in O’Shanter. The fire remains under investigation at this time, police said.
Curwensville Borough
- Police located a Curwensville man who was allegedly intoxicated in the area of Cooper Road on Wednesday. He was transported to his residence and released to a responsible person. The man will be cited for public drunkenness.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of disorderly conduct in the bridge area on Schofield Street. Further, police made contact with several juveniles who had been swimming.
- Police received a report about a motorist who was allegedly traveling through the Oak Hill Cemetery on Wednesday evening. Individuals are not permitted within the cemetery during nighttime hours.
- Police weren’t able to locate a man who was allegedly intoxicated in the area of Pennsylvania Avenue on Wednesday.
