Michael Andrew Litzinger, 60, of DuBois died Sunday, June 22, 2014 at his residence.
Born May 4, 1954 in Spangler, he was the son of the late Albert Litzinger Sr. and Adolphine (Getsy) Litzinger. His mother survives and lives in Patton.
On Dec. 15, 1979, he married Michelle Ann (Yahner) Litzinger. She survives.
He worked in medical waste at Advanced Disposal for 25 years.
He was an accomplished guitar player and enjoyed helping others. He loved to fish and go winter camping with the Core 4. Most of all, he enjoyed being with his family and friends. He will be missed by his dog and best friend, Lydia.
He’s survived by his daughter, Erin Marie Gabany and her husband, Chris of State College; his brothers, Albert Litzinger Jr. and his wife, Debbie of Sidman and Francis Litzinger and his wife, Mimi of Hastings; two grandchildren, Paityn and Nathan Gabany; and his mother-in-law, Jeannine Y. Yahner of Patton.
Friends will be received from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Thursday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at the St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church with Fr. Daniel Kresinski as celebrant.
Burial will be in Patton.
