Community Days Schedule of Events
Friday, June 13
5 p.m., Food booths will begin to open and will remain open throughout the evening.
5 p.m., The City of DuBois will offer free swimming on Friday from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.
5 p.m., The First United Methodist Church of DuBois’ Sonny Days Pre-school ministry will offer free train rides for young children near the American Legion stage.
5 p.m., Kurt Thomas will provide acoustic music on the Penelec stage.
5:30 p.m., Nick Miller Project featuring Gabe Green, one of central Pennsylvania’s ?nest duo’s, perform their unique musical talents. The duo will be on the American Legion stage.
6 p.m., Fun Land, Wacky World Obstacle Course, Party Bouncer, Wave of Fire Slide, Make Your Own Street Sign and Joustman will open for children’s enjoyment.
6 p.m., The Elephant Encounter is back at Community Days. It’s been six years since festivalgoers have last seen Shannon and Cora. They will be located near the blue restrooms next to the Cherry Amphitheater.
6:15 p.m., Scot Nery, a Los Angeles comedian, contortion and juggler will perform his street show in the area around the Edward V. Cherry Amphitheater.
6:30 p.m., There will be balloon twisting by Magic Mike and face painting by Face Paint Pittsburgh. They will be by the Penelec stage.
6:45 p.m., The Rock ‘N Roll Pet Show will be located at the Christ the King Manor tent in the park.
6:45 p.m., New Odyssey, a highly popular act from Chicago Ill., will feature three talented entertainers who play 30 different instruments. Â They will be located at the Edward V. Cherry Amphitheater.
7 p.m., Fern Reiker of Re/MAX Realty, in conjunction with the Clear?eld-Jefferson Drug Free Communities Coalition, will sponsor the Re/MAX Hot Air Balloon. There will be tethered rides to the public for a nominal donation per individual. The Hot Air Balloon will be located in the Middle School parking lot.
7:15 p.m., Magic David’s Street Show of illusions and fun for all will be at the American Legion stage.
7:30 p.m., Cynthia Jewell of Face Paint Pittsburgh will transform City Manager, Herm Suplizio, into an amazing new character live on the Penelec stage.
8 p.m., The Elephant Encounter is back at Community Days. It’s been six years since festivalgoers have last seen Shannon and Cora. They will be located near the blue restrooms next to the Cherry Amphitheater.
8 p.m., Mad Chad Taylor will perform his stage show on the American Legion stage. This world-record holder has been on insurance TV commercials.
8:15 p.m., The Rock ‘N Roll Pet Show will be located at the Christ the King Manor tent in the park.
8:15 p.m., Magic David will perform his street show near the Penelec stage.
8:30 p.m., New Odyssey, a highly popular act from Chicago Ill., will feature three talented entertainers who play 30 different instruments. They will be located at the Edward V. Cherry Amphitheater.
9:20 p.m., Scot Nery, a Los Angeles comedian, contortionist and juggler, will perform his stage show on the American Legion stage.
9:30 p.m., There will be a lighted hoop dance with Theresa on the Penelec stage.
9:45 p.m., The Elephant Encounter is back at Community Days. It’s been six years since festivalgoers have last seen Shannon and Cora. They will be located near the blue restrooms next to the Cherry Amphitheater.
