Kenneth R. Flood Sr., 82, of Clearfield and formerly of Philipsburg, died Monday, June 2, 2014 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Clearfield.
Born May 22, 1932 in Sandy Ridge, he was the son of the late Robert and Olive (Green) Flood. He was of the Christian faith and worked at the Osceola Mills Brickyard.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Robert Flood and two brothers, Robert Flood and Tim Flood.
Mr. Flood is survived by two daughters, Phyllis Harris and her husband, John of Bedford, Texas and Shirley Graffius of Houtzdale; two sons, Kenneth R. Flood Jr. and his wife, Carol of Allport and James A. Flood of Philipsburg.
He’s also survived by two sisters, Mary Lykens of Morrisdale and Jean Hoover and her husband, Clarence of Altoona; one brother, Jerry Flood and his wife, Michelle of Philipsburg; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills.
There will be no viewing or visitation.
