Elizabeth Idora Miller, 93, of DuBois died Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Christ the King Manor.
Born March 5, 1921 in Luthersburg, she was the daughter of the late Clifford P. and Rosetta I. (Biehl) Harris.
In 1941, she married Donald L. Miller. He preceded her in death on Nov. 9, 1990.
She was a self-employed hairdresser for 43 years. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and of the Pennsylvania Hairdressers Association.
She also was a lifetime member of the Sinnemahoning Sportsmen’s Club. Along with her husband, she was one of the founders of Millers Mountain Creek Enterprise in Sinnemahoning.
She’s survived by her children, Robert L. Miller of Franklin, Patricia M. Duckett and her husband, Roger W. of Clearfield and Sandra L. Serene of DuBois; one sister, Garnett Morgan of Luthersburg; four grandchildren, Nathan R. Miller, and Dr. Benjamin G. Miller, Christine M. Serene and Alicia M. Serene.; four great-grandchildren, Brady and Ava Miller and Katie and Lexie Miller; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. Saturday at the-Goble Baronick Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Terry Felt officiating.
Burial will be in Rockton Cemetery.
