State police at Clearfield
- On Wednesday, state police recovered a bicycle in the area of the Troy-Hawk Run Highway and Ninth Street in Morris Township. Any resident who is missing a bicycle from that area is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
State police at DuBois
- On May 16, a known 47-year-old man allegedly failed to register his new address with the state police within three business days after moving as required by law.
- On May 18, a known 26-year-old Reynoldsville man and his girlfriend allegedly engaged in a verbal argument. The argument, state police said, escalated into a physical dispute, which involved firearms. State police also listed a 1-year-old boy as a victim in their report.
State police at Philipsburg
- An incident of burglary occurred sometime between Nov. 30, 2013 and May 16 on Myers Run Road in Rush Township. During the incident, someone forced entry into a cabin and removed several items. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
- An incident of theft, fraud and forgery occurred May 18 at the Minit Mart on Front Street in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, someone passed counterfeit currency to make a purchase at the store. The counterfeit currency was subsequently seized and forwarded to the U.S. Secret Service. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
- Three people sustained minor injuries after a two-vehicle accident on May 19 at the intersection of South Centre and Curtis streets in Philipsburg Borough. Martin Rebo III, 44, of Philipsburg was stopped in the southbound lane to make a left-hand turn onto Curtis Street. At the same time, a 17-year-old Osceola Mills boy was traveling southbound when he failed to stop and rear-ended the Rebo vehicle. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage. Both operators and Rebo’s passenger reported minor injuries but refused medical treatment at the scene.
Clearfield Borough
- Police received a report about lost property at Clearfield Penn Highlands.
- Police received a noise complaint on East Locust Street. Upon arrival police asked the individuals to leave.
- Police received a neighbor complaint on West Seventh Street.
Lawrence Township
- Police received an animal call about a bear that appeared to be suffering from a disease in the area of Mount Joy Road. Police assisted the state Game Commission at the scene.
- Police received a report about an incident of harassment. Further, a known female was allegedly harassing another female at a local school.
- Police received a report about a hold-up alarm at a local bank. The alarm, police said, was unfounded.
- Police received a report about an alarm at a local bank. The alarm, police said, was accidentally set off by an employee.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of theft by deception. However, police found the incident to be civil in nature.
- Police assisted medical helicopter pilots who were grounded due to the storm.
