AUSTIN – Registration is now open for the Women in the Wilds Weekend at Sinnemahoning State Park.
From June 27-29, there will be a weekend filled with opportunities for women to learn new outdoor skills.
Ladies, are you tired of your typical weekend? Do you find yourself sitting in front of the television watching other people have fun? Well, here’s the perfect opportunity to break out of your routine and try something new.
Programs will include biking, archery, kayaking, bird-banding, GPS/geo-caching, fly-fishing, camp cooking, outdoor survival and many others. Participants may choose up to eight different sessions over the three days of the event, and all meals are included.
You can grab your mom, sister, best friend or co-worker and join other aspiring woods-women for a new adventure in the heart of the Pennsylvania Wilds.
For more information on registration, available lodging, and fees, please call the Sinnemahoning State Park Office and Wildlife Center at 814-647-8401.
