State police at Clearfield
- An incident of criminal mischief occurred Sunday on Rolley Road in Pike Township. During the incident, someone caused damage to three windows at a residence.
- An incident of criminal mischief/propulsion of missiles occurred Sunday on state Route 879 in Curwensville Borough. During the incident, known suspects threw eggs and rocks at passing vehicles from the overpass. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
- On Monday, an inmate was found with a homemade weapon at the State Correctional Institution at Houtzdale.
State police at Philipsburg
- An incident of theft occurred sometime between April 23 and April 30 on High Street Extension in Union Township. During the incident, someone removed SD cards from a camera located in various locations on the victim’s property. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the state police at Philipsburg at 814-342-3370.
State police at Ridgway
- The investigation is continuing into an incident of theft/fraud that occurred Saturday in Fox Township. Further, the victim was defrauded money by known suspects after she responded to an online advertisement on Craig’s List.
Clearfield Borough
- Police received a report about an ongoing domestic dispute at a Margaretta Street address.
- Police received a report about a burglary in progress. However, police listed the complaint as unfounded.
- Police served a warrant on a female after a traffic stop along Nichols Street.
- Police received a report about an incident of fraud. Further, a female stated a caller told her she had a warrant out and would be arrested if she failed to send $1,000.
- Police received a report about an incident of fraud from CVS Pharmacy. The employee advised there have been numerous elderly people buying Green Cards. The employee said several people told her about receiving a call from someone who wanted money on the Green Cards. In return, she said they would receive millions of dollars and new cars.
- Police investigated a run-away child. Further, a 15-year-old boy left his residence, prompting police to search the area. The boy eventually returned to the residence, police said.
- Police unlocked a vehicle after the owner locked their keys inside it along North Second Street.

- Police received a report about a trespassing incident on Park Avenue. As a result, one female was transported to the Clearfield Hospital for a mental health evaluation.

- Police arrested a 59-year-old Glen Ritchey woman for DUI. Further, she struck a parked vehicle in the lot at 440 W. Front Place.
- Police received a report about a defiant trespass at 7 S. Fifth St. Further, two adults and juvenile were at the residence and refused to leave when requested by the owner. They left prior to police arrival but were later located and warned of their actions. Lawrence Township police assisted with the incident.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a hit-and-run accident on Libby Lane.
- Police initiated an investigation into an incident of harassment by communications that occurred at the Lawrence Park Village Apartments.
- Police received a report about a stolen laptop from a residence in Hillsdale. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
- Police received a report about a motor vehicle accident involving a deer in the area of the storage sheds in Golden Rod.
- Police received a report about a civil issue of personal property.
- Police received a report about a minor vehicle accident at a local trailer court.
Curwensville Borough
- Police would like to warn residents about a scam. It involves a caller who claims to be reporting winnings from the Publishers Clearing House. However, to claim the prize, residents must send a pre-paid credit card. Police remind residents that the PCH does not participate in phone notifications, and they must exercise caution to prevent becoming a victim of such scams.
- On Saturday, a State Street resident reported several hundred dollars in cash was removed from a security box.
- Police received a report about motorists running stop signs in the area of Beech and Hill streets.
- Police handled a burning complaint at the scene. Further, residents can access a copy of the borough’s ordinance from the borough secretary or police department.
- Police have initiated an investigation into a hit-and-run accident that occurred at Napa. No injuries were reported. Anyone with information about the accident is asked to contact Curwensville Borough police.
