CLEARFIELD – More than 50 agencies plan to participate in the 12th annual Penn Highlands Clearfield Health Expo, planned for May 13 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., at Florian Banquet Center, Mill Road, Clearfield.
The purpose of this expo is to bring area health and human service providers together in one location for the convenience of the residents of local communities. There is no charge to attend.
Some exhibitors will perform free health screenings. For example, the hospital’s imaging department plans to offer a screening for osteoporosis, while the wound clinic will perform skin assessments. Clear-Care Corp. will offer a screening for sleep apnea.
Additional offerings include: atrial fibrillation risk screening, lung function screening, blood pressure checks, depression screening, vision screening and body fat analysis.
Exhibitors will provide information about their services, which include fitness programs, children’s services, long-term care, women’s health, financial services, support groups, home health care, home medical equipment, chiropractic care, behavioral health services and community resources for senior citizens.
