CLEARFIELD – The annual observance of the National Day of Prayer will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at the David H. Litz Grove Stage at the Clearfield Driving Park.
In case of rain, the event will be moved indoors at the West Side United Methodist Church. Music will be provided by Momentum Worship.
This year’s theme is “United with one voice in prayer.” It comes from scripture in Romans that states “you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Pastors from all area denominational and non-denominational churches are encouraged to attend, as there will be a special time of prayer for them. Community members are encouraged to join together to pray for the nation, community and one another.
In Ephesians, it states “There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.”
