REYNOLDSVILLE – Jeff Tech would like to congratulate Jacob Deshong on his second place overall win in the Clarion-Jefferson Regional Safe Driving Competition held on April 15 at the Heritage House in Brookville.
The Clarion-Jefferson Regional Teen Safe Driving Competition is held annually. This year nine schools competed with a total of 27 students participating in the event. Students who place first through third overall are awarded with prizes of $1,000 for first place, $500 for second place and $250 for third place.
Driver Education instructor Rita Basile has been taking students from Jeff Tech to compete in this event for several years. Â DeShong will be eligible to compete in the state competition held on May 13 in Camp Hill.
