UNION TOWNSHIP – Two Coxs Creek, KY residents were jailed after being found in possession of drugs on April 16 on Interstate 80 westbound at approximately mile-marker 105 in Union Township, reported the state police at DuBois today.
During a traffic stop, state police detected an odor of marijuana coming from the interior of the suspects’ vehicle. State police subsequently conducted a search, which turned up approximately two ounces of marijuana, prescription pills without a valid prescription and several items of drug paraphernalia.
Both Rachael M. and Bryant R. Chamberlin of Coxs Creek, KY were arrested and charged with possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, conspiracy/possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both were arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Jerome Nevling. Both are incarcerated at the Clearfield County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail, state police said.
