PHILIPSBURG – For the second consecutive day, Philipsburg-Osceola Area High School officials found a written bomb threat, reported the state police at Philipsburg.
On Wednesday, school officials contacted the state police after finding another bomb threat directed at the school. The school, state police said, was subsequently evacuated for a thorough search of the building and grounds with several K9s trained in explosives detection.
The search yielded negative results; however, the investigation is continuing at this time, state police said. Anyone with information about the bomb threats is asked to contact the state police at Philipsburg at 814-342-3370.
