DUBOIS – Ken Longfield will present a workshop: Care of the Mountain Dulcimer and Other Stringed Instruments from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. April 26 at the DuBois Area Historical Society Museum, 30 W. Long Ave., DuBois.
The public is invited to attend. Suggested donation of $15 per person will be accepted to help cover expenses.
In his presentation, Longfield will explain how to keep a mountain dulcimer in tip-top playing shape. Participants will learn how to maintain tuning pegs, change strings and care for their dulcimers.
Longfield will discuss how to adjust string action, make simple repairs and where to go when help is needed.
