Brenda S. Plisco, 70, of Winburne died Monday, March 31, 2014 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.
Born Nov. 15, 1943 in Eustace, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Katherine “Carrie” Gatlin Anthony. Mrs. Plisco was a 1962 graduate of the Eustace High School.
She married Thomas Mark Plisco on Dec. 21, 1963 in Eustace, Texas. He preceded her in death on Sept. 2, 2013.
She’s survived by two sons, David L. Plisco and his wife, Sherry and Mark T. Plisco and his wife, Donna, all of Winburne.
Mrs. Plisco is also survived by five grandchildren, Erica Plisco and her fiancé, Ethan Lidgett, Carrie Plisco, Spencer Plisco, Emma Plisco and Zane Plisco and one great-grandchild, Peyton Lidgett.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn Tesky and Doris Shelton; two brothers, Harvey Anthony and David Anthony; and one great-granddaughter, Jayden Lynn Plisco.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the chapel of the Strange & Weaver Funeral Home with the Pastor Matt Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in the Messiah Baptist Cemetery in Lanse.
Friends will be received from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of services Thursday at the funeral home.
