Marlene E. Luzier, 75, of Clearfield died peacefully at her home surrounded by her loved ones Tuesday, March 25, 2014.
Mrs. Luzier was born Oct. 16, 1938, the daughter of Russell A. and Elizabeth (Rishel) Wrigley. She retired from Bayer Clothing in 2003.
Mrs. Luzier was Methodist by faith.
She was a wonderful loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. She enjoyed playing the organ and was an avid book reader.
Mrs. Luzier is survived by seven children, Pamela Dugan and her husband, Greg and Gwen Henry and her husband, Ken, both of Clearfield, Sharon Shugerts and her husband, Chester and Merrianne Frisco, both of Pleasant Valley, Kimberly Ames and her husband, Bill of DuBois, Scott Luzier and his wife, Sara of Spring Mills and Gregory Luzier and his wife, Susan of Bradenton, Fla.
She’s also survived by 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Candace Wrigley Rhone of Clearfield and Gloria Badger and her husband, Frank of California and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jack L. Luzier, whom she married on May 6, 1955 and whom died April 26, 1995 and an infant son, Jack Christopher Luzier.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Bennett & Houser Funeral Home Inc., Clearfield, with Rev. Dr. Joleen A. Willis officiating. Burial will be in Bradford Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. Saturday until the hour of the services at the funeral home.
