Blanche G. Lippart, 90, of Curwensville, died Friday, March 21, 2014 at Ridgeview Elder Care, Curwensville. She was the wife of the late Albert W. “Whitey” Lippart, whom died Aug. 23, 1968.
Born Sept. 4, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Harold Allen and Eva (Hudson) Sheffield. She was a member of First Church of Christ.
She was employed as a presser for Kent’s Sportswear, Curwensville, until her retirement. She enjoyed her flower gardens and became a pen pal for a lot of people.
Surviving are three daughters and two sons, Sandra Gillmer and husband, George of St. Mary’s; Sherry Dillon and her husband, Clyde of Philipsburg; Barry Lippart and his wife, Kathy of Kerns, Texas; Randy Lippart of Curwensville; and Joyce D. Goodrow of Woodland; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Dorothy Bailey of Clearfield and Beverly McClure of San Diego, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents; three grandsons, Chris Dillon, Mark Jon Dillon and Gregory W. Dillon; three sisters and a brother, Freda Moriarity, Harriet Harley, Mildred Miller and Harold A. Sheffield.
There will be no public viewing. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Burial will be in Stoneville Cemetery.
The Bennett & Houser Funeral Home Inc., 312 E. Locust St., Clearfield, is assisting the family with their arrangements.
