BRADFORD TOWNSHIP – A 39-year-old DuBois woman, Marcy J. Jenkins, sustained serious injuries after a two-vehicle accident Friday morning on the Shawville Highway south of Doe Hill Road in Bradford Township, reported the state police at Clearfield.
Jenkins was traveling southbound while Thomas E. Shipman, 60, of Hampton, Va., was traveling northbound. Shipman turned left and impacted the front end of the Jenkins vehicle, which exited the roadway and overturned.
Both Jenkins and Shipman were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident. Jenkins sustained serious injuries; Shipman sustained minor injuries. Shipman was also cited for the accident, according to state police.
