Marian A. “Manny” Dunlap, 85, of Osceola Mills died Thursday, March 13, 2014 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College.
She was the daughter of the late Harry E. and Kathryn M. (Tingle) Cowfer born July 27, 1928 in Osceola Mills. She married Charles R. “Chuck” Dunlap on Aug. 11, 1949 in Winchester, Va.; he preceded her in death on Sept., 5, 2007.
Mrs. Dunlap was a member of the Osceola Mills United Methodist Church. She was a 1946 graduate of the former Osceola Mills High School and was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, IC3 James S. Dunlap.
Mrs. Dunlap is survived by two daughters, Beth A. Wardo and her husband, Gene of Philipsburg and Marikay Wagner and her husband, Michael of Lewistown; two sons, Charles J. Dunlap of Osceola Mills and Paul E. Dunlap and his wife, Melanie of Philipsburg; two sisters, Jane Dunlap and her husband, Fred “Tim” of Osceola Mills and Lois Thompson of Brentwood, Calif.; two brothers, Thomas Cowfer and his wife, Nancy of Osceola Mills and Paul Cowfer and his wife, Gail of Altoona; and eight grandchildren, Megan, James “Luke”, Eva and Chloe Dunlap, Michaela and Mackenzie Wagner and Hannah and Rachel Wardo.
The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, at the Osceola Mills United Methodist Church with Pastor Jennifer C. Heikes officiating. Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills.
Friends will be received from 1 p.m. Sunday until the time of the funeral service at the church.
