WASHINGTON, D.C. – This week, the United States Senate unanimously passed Senate Resolution 379 congratulating the Penn State Dance Marathon (THON) on its continued success.
The resolution, co-sponsored by Sen. Robert Casey and Sen. Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania acknowledges THON’s ongoing support of the Four Diamonds Fund at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital.
THON, the largest student-run philanthropy in the world, has raised more than $113 million for the Four Diamonds Fund in the fight against pediatric cancer, including more than $13.3 million in 2014.
