Anne M. Colose, 94, of State College and formerly of Clearfield, died Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Elmcroft Senior Living, State College. She was the wife of the late Anthony J. Colose, who died Jan. 13, 1985.
Born Jan. 23, 1920 in Philipsburg, she was the daughter of the late William Michael and Angelina (Balotta) Speranza.
Mrs. Colose was a member of the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church, Clearfield. She was a housewife and mother and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are a grandson, Anthony Mona and his wife, Lynn of State College; a son-in-law, Raymond Mona of Meadville; two great-grandsons, Hunter and Tanner Mona, both of State College; a brother, William Speranza of New Jersey; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents; a daughter, Joan Mona; two brothers, Joseph and Michael Speranza; and three sisters, Jean Stout, Josephine Wood and Constance Darke.
Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
